We are Into the Pit Promotions, a UK wide promotions company that deals with the rock and metal music genre.
Brief History
Into the Pit Promotions was borne from the ashes of TMRUK Live Events, and has been active as a company since the 1st April 2013. Even though the company is new, the person behind the company has been active as a promoter for almost 15 years.
In this short time, the company has opened up negotiations with several venues up and down the country. With 4 active promoters already on board based in London, Essex, Liverpool, and the NE of England, we strive to provide the best nights a venue could hold.
The Owner
Kevin Murray, the owner, has been dealing with band promotions since 1998, starting off at a venue in Southend-on-Sea Essex. 7 years of dealing with bands and djs in Essex, set a benchmark for other djs, and promoters to follow.
In 2002, Kevin joined Total Rock Radio, as a dj/presenter. This move was to develop his skills, and also to build up his contact database. After 4 years, Kevin left the music industry, just to take a break, and spend time with his family.
In 2007, Kevin started up as an online dj for an American station called Braingell Radio. He had a very successful show, and was able to build up a fan base worldwide. In 2011, he hooked up with a Canadian band called The Worshyp, and became their UK and European promoter. This lit a fire in Kevin, and he began looking into setting up again as a venue promoter.
At the end of 2011, Kevin was one of the chosen promoters up and down the country to host a launch party for Motorhead’s album release. From this, the work started to come in, and Kevin started up DeGenerationUK which changed into TMRUK Live Events in December 2012, when Kevin left Braingell and started up Total Metal Radio with a friend in America.
In April of this year, Kevin left Total Metal Radio, and changed the company name to Into the Pit Promotions.
Mission Statement
As a company, we aim to provide you with the best bands that we can find, specialising in unsigned bands, as they need all the promotion they can get. Our team of promoters, have all been handpicked by myself, as I know what they can do for you, and your venue.
· All band and dj costs will be met by The Company.
· All advertising and promotional work will be dealt with by The Company.
· We can deal with other styles of music, but at The Company owner’s discretion.
